Disappointment of the Year: It's a well-established idea that Jay-Z has nothing else to say about the streets and expensive purchases, so though his songs differ in beat and structure, they're all basically a retread. But there's one really interesting idea that he keeps hinting at and then avoiding, which makes me wonder if there's any substance.

hey jeff.
i never saw that crs video before. lots to like (dynasty signs, don't look back signs), lots not to like (most notably that the thom yorke kid looks more like a chris martin kid to me, which probably says something about trying to act like thom yorke).
anyways. it's 'the eraser' from thom yorke's album.
that song is off the kanye mixtape, which if i haven't mentioned before, is very great.
